Pregnancy: Linked to perindopril: The use of ACE inhibitors is not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy (see Precautions). The use of ACE inhibitors is contra-indicated during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy (see Contraindications and Precautions).
When used in pregnancy during the second and third trimesters, ACE inhibitors can cause injury and even death to the developing fetus.
When pregnancy is detected this drug should be discontinued as soon as possible.
